What do you think of Danny sending the diamond to his mother?

I think that it was a good and bad idea. I think it was a good idea because his mother was very poor, and had no job. She wanted to become an actress, so Danny thought by sending the diamond she could get clothes and get all the supplies she needed because the diamond was worth over one million dollars. But I think it was a bad idea for Danny to send the diamond to his mother because the police were going to arrest who ever had/stole the diamond. To add on, most states had known about the Murphy diamond and if she traded the diamond for money and the person who took the diamond could know she had the diamond and report her. Lastly, it was a bad idea because it is Mrs. Roth’s diamond not his. He didn’t get permission from Mrs. Roth. To conclude I think it was a good and bad idea.
