Synopsis:
While on vacation with Sabina and her family, Alex sees a face from his past: contract killer Yassen Gregorovich; bombs and danger ensues. When Alex brings information to MI6 about a conspiracy involving Sir Damian Cray, a famous singer, environmentalist, and general do-gooder, they don’t believe him. So, Alex is forced to conduct the investigation by himself, and of course, he finds danger. Will Alex be able to bring down a crazed mastermind without the help of MI6? When Sabina is taken hostage, can Alex save her, himself, and the world at the same time?
Chatter:
(Spoiler Alerts! ) MI6 stinks! They use Alex whenever it suits them, but then they ignore him when he needs them. First they let him embarrass himself in front of Sabina, and then they dismiss all the information he brings them about Damian Cray and Yassen. They even let him leave without support, knowing that he is going to try and launch his own investigation.
MI6 has also, if Yassen is to be believed, been hiding information about Alex’s parents. Mrs. Jones’s attitude and cryptic comments about Yassen are certainly intriguing, but I’m not sure that I’m ready to immediately believe that Mr. Rider was paid killer. Of course, at this point, I’m not sure who’s more credible: Yassen or MI6.
I’m a little disappointed in Sabina. I understand that she’s emotional after the injuries her father sustained, but I wish she’d believed Alex when he told her about his spy-past. Then, when she find out from first hand experience that he’s not lying, she still says good bye. I know she doesn’t have a choice about moving to San Francisco, but she could stay in touch. She’s the one-person Alex’s age who understands what he’s going through, and now he’s losing her too.

Question, Alex says he wont work for MI6 again, do you believe him, should he?
I believe that Alex is going to have to do more work for MI6, because like his past three missions Mrs. Jones and Alan Blunt didn’t give him a choice, they just gave him gadgets and briefed him of the situation. Which isn’t right, because he’s just a teenager and that he almost died multiple times.
When Alex was snowboarding off the mountain at the point blanc academy, he was almost turned into swish cheese by the gaurds and their machine guns.
In the bull pen, he was almost run over by a bull.
At Alexi’s mansion, he was almost stung to death by a giant jellyfish.

I dont think Alex should work for MI6. They have used him too much, and as cool as it is being a spy, he’s only 14! They didnt help him when he needed help and they didnt believe him when the should have. Alan Blunt would have a lot of nerve to ask for his help after what they’ve put him through. If Alex has any dignty left in him, he wont go back. But.. he may be forced to if he is on the verge of being killed. In that case, MI6 are the only ones who can help him, as they are the only ones who are involved in these kind of dangerous activities.
